Novi Sad is the second largest city in Serbia, after Belgrade and an important industrial and cultural center of the country. Serbian Athens is the capital of Vojvodina and an important tourist city of Serbia even after the damage suffered during the NATO bombing in 1999. Petrovaradin Fortress

Vojvodina Museum

Novi Sad hosts one of the largest and oldest museums in Serbia – Vojvodina Museum. Institution of culture is among the most important in Serbia and hosts a collection of over 5,000 pieces and 60,000 publications. Its exhibitions include exhibits dating from ancient times until now. The Clock Tower

If you want to visit the Planetarium in Novi Sad is recommended that you have a thick coat because temperatures are very low in the tunnel.

With beautiful architecture, historic buildings and great places, Novi Sad is a city that deserves to be discovered on foot. Downtown area called Liberty Square is surrounded by an imposing statue that portrays Svetozar Miletic, a leading politician in the nineteenth century. The square is bordered by impressive historical buildings, which houses administrative institutions and is a good starting point for exploring the city.
